Training

An all-purpose curriculum that is appropriate for all backgrounds and levels of experience, and provides the necessary knowledge and skills to operate and manage risk of challenge course elements. Level 1 certification is valid for one calendar year.

An advanced curriculum for those with previous experience. This training focuses on supervisory skills relevant to those in leadership roles, as well as response to non-typical situations that require problem-solving, such as emergencies and adaptation to non-typical participants. Level 2 certification is valid for three calendar years.

A specialty curriculum that targets the administrative knowledge necessary to manage effective course programs. This certification requires previous experience, a minimum age of 21, and is valid for five calendar years.

Signature will conduct recertification testing for those who can provide documentation of the necessary pre-requisites for the Level and Track at which the person wishes to re-certify. Please note that a professional portfolio is required, and we only accept previous training hours that were delivered by an accredited ACCT PVM for credit towards the required training hours. 

Signature strongly recommends that all practitioners, regardless of experience and certification type, have their skills regularly evaluated. We encourage recertification candidates to attend continuing education and refreshers to remain current in industry changes and keep their skills sharp.

Our Open Enrollment trainings are designed for individuals or small groups who may not be able to attend a training at their site, or who are looking to update their skills and credentials. These trainings may take place anywhere in the world and are announced on a rolling basis as they become available. Our fully online Course Manager course is offered year-round to help busy managers learn about the core duties of daily course administration. Students progress through the course at their own pace in the comfort of their own home. Certification testing is included in the registration fee, and we also offer an Audit option for those who do not wish to test. This course does NOT verify technical skills and should be used in combination with a Level 1 or Level 2 certification that covers those skills. CLICK HERE for more information or to get registered.
