PROGRAM REVIEW AND OPERATIONAL ASSESSMENT Services

Signature PRO-A Services are intended to assist challenge courses, canopy/zip line tours, aerial adventure/trekking park facilities, programs, and administrators in engaging in a voluntary evaluation process. The objective is to examine the organization’s programs and practices relative to current Association For Challenge Course Technology (ACCT) standards and recognized industry practices.

Pro-A Services:  

1. Documentation Review  

Option 1: Client purchases a Self-Directed Handbook for creation of Local Operating Procedure(LOP) Documents.  

Option 2: Signature Consultant reviews existing written LOP’s and other course documents, and provides one-time feedback identifying changes needed to align with current standards and industry practices.  

Option 3: Signature Consultant partners with client in creation of LOP’s and other documents needed for course operation.  

2. Program Review  

Signature Consultant observes staff during a program in operation and provides feedback to the client in a written report.  

3. 5-Year Operation Review  

Signature Consultant reviews existing course documents and observes staff during a program, providing feedback to client in a comprehensive written report. Meets the requirements for the 5-Year Review recommended by ACCT Standard B.2.7. For clients who intend to eventually begin the Accreditation process, this also assists them in identifying areas needing additional attention.  

4. Accreditation Operation Review  Signature ACCT Approved Operation Reviewer conducts a comprehensive review of the site’s operations and documents, and provides a written report that meets the ACCT Operation Review requirement for the accreditation application.  

5. Program Development  

Signature Consultants work alongside the client’s administration and staff to develop, implement, and evaluate policies, documents, procedures, training practices, and operational procedures. A phased 12-month strategic plan is created and implemented.
