Climbing Structures

Climbing towers are a great tool for any program. The climbing faces on towers can come in full flat faces, or can have features to them to add challenge and difficulty to the climbs. Climbing walls can range in size and scope from a single face to multi-pole towers that include multiple climbing faces, observation decks, rappel stations, and internal staircases. Climbing towers can also be incorporated with other high challenge course elements such as Dangle Duos, Giant Swings, or Zip Lines.

Climbing walls are a great activity for climbers of all ages and skill levels. Climbing walls can be attached to pre-existing structures, indoors or out. Walls can be framed out of lumber and faced with plain or painted plywood panels, or they can be framed with steel and faced with faux rock panels. Walls can be equipped with multiple belay options including traditional top rope, lead climbing anchors, and auto belay systems. Flat climbing walls offer a great challenge for all climbers and are popular with elementary schools, middle schools, and summer camps. Features can be added to increase the challenge for experienced climbers. Locking safety mat systems are also available, and provide access prevention as well as padding for climber safety. Removable handholds are also a great option for access prevention.

Bouldering walls, or horizontal climbing walls, are a great activity for climbers of all ages and skill levels. Bouldering walls can be attached to pre-existing structures, indoors or out and also can be built as free standing structures. Like climbing walls, bouldering walls can be framed out of lumber and faced with plain or painted plywood panels, or they can be framed with steel and faced with faux rock panels. Indoor walls can be left as plain plywood panels, painted, or covered in texture to give them a more authentic rock look and feel. Flat bouldering walls are great for beginner climbers, and are popular with elementary and middle schools. Features can be added to increase the challenge for experienced climbers. Locking safety mat systems are also available, and provide access prevention as well as padding for climber safety.
